Welcome to our elegant Casalbosco Estate! Velvety hills stretch for miles and frame Fattoria Casalbosco, in the area of Santomato. The 150 hectares of the estate are sun-kissed and overlook the valleys between Prato and Pistoia, while in the background the first peaks of the Pistoia Apennines rise silently. From a distance, the farm's land looks like a fabric with colorful patterns: dots of red, purple, and gold, and flashes of light. Their south-southeast position ensures the perfect ripening of the grapes, which, together with the unique, mineral-rich soil, guarantees the high quality of the winemaking that gives rise to excellent wines. The excellence and refined taste of the wines of Fattoria Casalbosco are rooted in the passion of the Becagli family; wines produced according to the great Tuscan winemaking tradition from extremely fine grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese, Chardonnay and Trebbiano, selecting the best grapes and with a production process orchestrated by an exceptional enologist. The Becagli family has a historic bond with the Chianti territory, where Fattoria Casalbosco is located. In addition to their love for this land and for the art of wine, they have a wealth of experience as dynamic entrepreneurs in the textile and composite sectors, enabling them to take great strides along the path to a new and significant success for the family business. Our mission? A new image for each bottle expresses the sweet contents. Simple, regular but elegant lines follow one another on the labels, evoking the geometry of the Romanesque decorations of the Pistoia Cathedral and the thousand churches scattered across the rolling Tuscan hills. Chianti DOCG, Chianti Riserva DOCG, Carminio, and Dorato, together with the excellent Fuor Civitas, a wine dedicated to the City of Pistoia, make up the entire picture of the Fattoria Casalbosco winemaking tradition, recently enriched by Terrecotte, a single-varietal wine vinified and stored in terracotta amphorae. The flagship of the company is Orchidea, an enveloping ruby-colored wine contained within an elegant screen-printed bottle, dedicated to the memory of Raffaella Becagli. With this tour, you will be welcomed to the winery for a tour of the Estate, before the food tasting and explanation of 3 wines and 'vin santo' accompanied by bread and oil made by us, and cantucci (for children, a snack and juice).
